The Brazilian Consulate in Vancouver and the CCA present the most important event on Brazil ever done in BC.
There are many opportunities for business between Brazilian and Canadian counterparts. This outstanding event will take place in Vancouver, on October 19, 2009, with the support of the Trade Promotion Department of the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Relations. This is the most important business event on Brazil ever made in Vancouver.
The event will focus upon the current main projects of infrastructure in Brazil, in the context of the national Growth-Acceleratng Program (PAC), and the possibilities of investments and joint ventures in such important areas as energy and mining. The program comprises brief presentations on macroeconomic indicators of the Brazilian economy; the projects included in the PAC, as well as specific energetic and mining topics, and will offer a lot of room for the exchange of information and possible initial deals among its participants, which is limited to 100 guests.
The Brazilian key speakers include the Secretary for International Relations of the Brazilian Ministry of Planning, Alexandre Rosa, the federal Deputy Vice-Minister for Mines and Energy, Francisco Romário Wojcicki, as well as senior representatives from the National Agency for Petroleum and the Brazilian oil company PETROBRAS.
